I. Artistic Plating Featured in Products Finishing Magazine for Expansion in Medical Industry

With a ongoing focus on expansion within technical sectors including the medical industry, Artistic Plating was recently featured in a cover story of Products Finishing Magazine. II. Artistic Plating to once again Exhibit at 2012 Medical Design and Manufacturing Show in Minneapolis, MN

Artistic Plating will be exhibiting in booth 1436 at the upcoming 2012 MD&M Minneapolis show in Minneapolis, MN October 31st through November 1st...

“We couldn’t be more excited to return once again to the medical hub of the Twin Cities to display first-hand what makes Artistic Plating unique in the demanding field of medical metal finishing,” says company President John Lindstedt. “The medical industry is a growing sector that we service and we are thrilled to exhibit some of our latest developments in precious metals finishing, powder coating as well as our latest in micro precision passivation of stainless steel, nickel/cobalt, titanium, MP35 and Nitinol.”

Artistic Plating will also be returning to exhibit at the MD&M West show in Anaheim, CA in February of 2013.

III. Artistic Plating Launches Expansion of Precision Tin/Lead and Lead Plating Lines

Artistic Plating recently tripled the capacity of precision tin/lead and lead plating services due to recent growth in plating within the bearing, power distribution/transmission and energy sectors. “Our tin/lead and lead plating services were our number one growing finish in the previous year and the expansion of our capabilities in these finishes will greatly improve our ability to service these key sectors,” says company Sales Manager Matt Lindstedt.

Artistic Plating offers specific tin/lead and lead plating services including heavy build, selective plating and plate-to-gauge for demanding bearing plating applications. In addition, tin/lead and lead coating excel in applications involving batteries and highly corrosive applications that utilize strong mineral acids or other extremely corrosive environments. Current capabilities include plating up to 0.010” per side as well as multi-layer deposits with compositions to meet nearly any specification. IV. Artistic Plating Expands with New Flagship Heavy Build Copper Plating Line

Artistic Plating recently launched its newest plating line, which was designed to offer expansion in heavy build copper plating. "This line is truly a state-of-the-art machine that combines over sixty years of plating experience with today’s most modern PLC and SCADA controls," says company Operations Manager, Terry Collins. "We are excited with the greater flexibility and capacity that this line provides to better service our customers."

Artistic Plating currently services the ammunition industry in heavy build copper plating of both lead core and frangible projectiles as well as applications for heat-treat stop-off, eddy current drives and the HVAC industry. This line provides a huge expansion in plating capacity as well as a new level of control and monitoring through a custom-engineered Honeywell SCADA monitoring system. All aspects of the plating cycle are controlled and monitored and trended through this system which provides real-time data to operators and engineers from anywhere in the facility and the world via a web-based interface.
